: My opinion is no. Daysider and Daysider are odd terms... They're not nationalities (in which case you can only be one or the other), but they're not ethnicities either (which I think is what your question leans toward). My logic on their use is that they describe the person's cultural background. So maybe we need to have a discussion about what those terms mean... 17th Shard forums are probably better for that. I believe ethnicity involves racial AND social identity. My opinion is no. Daysider and Daysider are odd terms... They're not nationalities (in which case you can only be one or the other), but they're not ethnicities either (which I think is what your question leans toward).
