Vaceslv is of the tenth [[dahn]], the lowest rank of [[lighteyes]], and views 'middlers, '—lighteyes who are ~~above~~of at least the ~~eight~~eighth dahn but not quite highlords, —as useless. Vaceslv and another member named [[Alaward]] tried multiple times to get Kaladin to play cards with them, though Kaladin declined, thinking of his experiences with [[Sah]] and the other [[Voidbringers]].{{book ref\|sa3\|73}} Vaceslv, after a [[Fused]] raid, is noted as having taken a gash to the chest.{{book ref\|sa3\|73}} He is also probably present when Highmarshall [[Azure]] reveals how she supplies food for the army.
