The Adhesion Surge grants the Surgebinder power over pressure and vacuum. It can be used to bind objects together with such strength that the bond will break before the material.{{ref|b|sa2|ars}} Such a bond can be created in various ways. The most obvious way is for a Surgebinder to infuse one object with Stormlight and presses it up against another. The interface will glow faintly (until the bond breaks) and will attract bindspren. Or, the Surgebinder infuses an area with Stormlight which will then stick any object that comes into contact with it.{{ref|b|sa2|c|10}}
