Bacon is a Yolish dragon, grillmaster, and the well-known leader of the Seventeenth Shard. He was the recipient of The Letter, and has a strict non-interference policy in the cosmere because he needs to protect his bacon restaurant in Shadesmar, which feeds all Seventeenth Sharders (fortunately, they can use Shadesmar to transform their gut-fat away). Bacon has been worried that if he fights Odium, Odium will come for some of the pork deliciousness.

He eats seventeen strips of bacon every morning, which is the source of his immortality. As a dragon, he can efficiently slaughter pigs.
