Vorin Citizenship is divided in two ranks, Dahn and Nahn, and then in ten each, first dahn until tenth dahn, and the same for nahn. Dahn is superior to nahn, the ranking is first dahn, until tenth dahn, then first nahn, until tenth nahn, the worse ranking a citizen could have, below only 'sas nahn', a slave.
All who are of the dahn ranking are lighteyes and everyone who are of the nahn ranking are darkeyes.
A lighteyes of fourth dahn is expected to command over a thousand man, a battalion and have the military rank of battalionlord.[1]
A lighteyes of seventh dahn isn't expected to own land, instead is attached to a more powerful officer's routine.[2]
A darkeyes of first nahn is worthy of marrying into a lighteyes family.[3]
A darkeyes of second nahn is a full citizen, has the right of travel and the possibility of marrying into a lighteyes family.[4]
