Birth and Early Life
Vin's birth was "unusually difficult", and she Snapped as her mother was in labor.[1]
- Insane mother
- Seeker sister
- Reen, older brother
- Tevidien Tekiel, father
- Tevidien allegedly tried to have the mother, Vin and possibly the unnamed sister killed
- When she was young, her mother killed the younger sister and then shoved the earring into Vin's ear, proclaiming her a queen (?)(mentioned in WoA)
- Reen took her away, and raised her
Street Urchin
- They were constantly on the move, and lived on the streets
- Reen was abusive
- They returned to Luthadel, and were a part of Camon's crew
- A year before C1, Reen went missing -- she assumed he had abandoned her, as he had often promised he would
- She was left in Camon's crew alone, and was exploited by Camon for her fledgling Allomantic abilities
