Después de que FM participe en una gran batalla en la que está implicado un zapador, Jorgen regresa a la Plataforma Primaria con varias cajas de taynix. FM, Jorgen y Gali trabajan para averiguar las habilidades de los taynix y conseguir que hagan lo que los humanos quieren. FM muestra habilidad para manejar a los taynix, y Jorgen consigue hacer hipersaltos con las hiperbabosas. Sus acciones alertan a la Supremacía, que intenta acabar con los humanos mediante bombardeos. Gali y los ingenieros consiguen activar el escudo planetario de Detritus, consiguiendo detenerlos. El Escuadrón Cielo recibe una llamada de socorro de Cuna y salta a Alcance Solar, un centro de investigación situado en una [[vaina estelar ciclópea]]. Tras una batalla con naves de la Supremacía y la propia vaina estelar, el Escuadrón Cielo consigue rescatar a Cuna y a varios miembros de su personal. After FM participates in a major battle involving a delver, Jorgen returns to Platform Prime with several crates of taynix. FM, Jorgen, and Rig work to figure out the abilities of the taynix, and get them to do what the humans want them to. FM shows a skill for handling the taynix, and Jorgen succeeds in hyperjumping with the hyperslugs. Their actions alert the Superiority, who attempt to wipe out the humans through bombardment. They are stopped, largely through Rig and Engineering managing to get Detritus’ planetary shield up. Skyward Flight receives a distress call from Cuna, and hyperjump to Sunreach, a research facility located on a [[mammoth starpod]]. After a battle with Superiority ships and the starpod itself, Skyward Flight manages to rescue Cuna and several members of her staff. They escaped back to Detritus with the help of the taynix.
