Languish is in his lakeside house, preparing to flee the city. He no longer trusts any of the people or groups onin the islandcity, and determines that he would be safest away from Lux. He packs clothes and a gun, thinking about his future and wishing he could taste Lux’s delicious food once more. Right as Languish is about to leave, the reckonersReckoners appeararrive and stop him. Languish tells the reckonersReckoners that Lifeforce killed Brigand, and the Reckoners have mixed reactions to the news.
