Reendel was present during the advancement ceremony prior to the [[Kerztian]] surprise attack, where he was advanced to the rank of lesstrell. He is the son of the craftsman [[Keshdel]].{{book ref|ws1|2}} His survival following the attack by the [[Kerztian]]s is unknown.
