During the [[Final Empire]], [[Sazed]] enthusiastically discusses the Nelazan with Vin not long after meeting her, since they share her preference for the night.{{book ref|mb1|9}} He describes their religion as "gentle, yet powerful"{{book ref|mb1|9}} and later notes that he has always liked the scholarly aspect of Trelagism.{{book ref|mb3|46}} Vin does not take Sazed's suggestion too seriously, since it was the fifth religion he had presented to her.{{book ref|mb1|9}}
Trelagism, or "Trellism", reappears on Scadrial after the Catacendre,{{book ref|bom|epilogue}} notably practiced by [[Miles Dagouter]]{{book ref|aol|11}} and some members of the [[Set]].{{book ref|bom|15}}{{book ref|bom|epilogue}} Sazed included information about Trelagism in the [[Words of Founding]] and it is known to many residents of [[Elendel]].{{book ref|aol|11}}{{book ref|bom|3}} However, statements regarding Trell made by Miles do not appear to align with the values of the Nelazan.{{book ref|aol|11}}
