She is a large, muscular singer with red and white marbled skin. Her only carapace runs along her forearms and juts out at her temples. She is passionate about her freedom and is gets frustrated with being given orders and being continuously oppressed.

===History===
Khen was a slave in [[Alethkar]]. During the [[Everstorm]], when her identity is restored and she is freed from slaveform, she escapes. She gathers a group of singers including [[Sah]] and they travel to [[Revolar]] under the guidence of [[Yixli]], a [[voidspren]]. Along the way the group take Kaladin captive (willingly). Kaladin frees himself from his bonds but stays with the group and teaches them how to survive while on the run.{{book ref|sa3|14}}
Once she reaches Revolar, the group join the voidbringer army gathering to attack [[Kholinar]]. Kaladin leaves, revaling himself as a human spy. Khen's group is punished and put to work hauling lumber. She meets Moash who vouches for her and her group to [[Leshwi]] and begins training them combat skills in preparation for the assault on Kholinar.{{book ref|sa3|54}}
In the battle in Kholinar Khen witnesses Sah's death by [[Noromin]] and kill him in turn. She witnesses Moash kill [[Elhohkar]].{{book ref|sa3|84}}
After the voidbringers win the battle, she is put to work rebuilding the city.{{book ref|sa3|122}}
