Kalak survives one of the [[Desolations]] and thinks of the place where the Heralds go when they die or a Desolation has ended. He meets with [[Jezrien]] at the meeting place of all the surviving Heralds. He thinks that its unusual that nine of the ten Heralds have survived, and tells Jezrien that he cannot go back to the place in between Desolations. Jezrien agrees and says that the [[Oathpact]] is ended.

Kalak is a character from the series The Stormlight Archive.

He is one of the Heralds, and is called Kelek in Vorinism. According to the religion, he is associated with the Essence Foil and the Attributes Resolute and Builder. He is number Kak on the Ten Essences table.

Plot

Kalak survives one of the Desolations and thinks of the place where the Heralds go when they die or a Desolation has ended. He meets with Jezrien at the meeting place of all the surviving Heralds. He thinks that its unusual that nine of the ten Heralds have survived, and tells Jezrien that he cannot go back to the place in between Desolations. Jezrien agrees and says that the Oathpact is ended.

Kalak considers the people they are abandoning, as well as Talenel.
