El grupo parece tener cierta jerarquía, con los Ire propiamente consistiendo de Elantrinos extremadamente ancianos, tanto hombres como mujeres. Están increíblemente arrugados, en su mayoría o completamente calvos, y no son inmediatamente reconocibles como humanos. Tienen la piel plateada característica de los Elantrianos y brillan levemente; algunos miembros tienen la piel más oscura, presumiblemente indicando que son de etnia [[Dula]]. Los Ire llevan túnicas blancas con capucha y bordado plateado. [[Alonoe]], quien parece tener el rol de líder en el grupo, tiene bandas de plata más anchas en sus túnicas.{{msh ref|5|2}}
The group seems to have a hierarchy, with the Ire proper consisting of extremely ancient Elantrians, both male and female. They are incredibly wizened and mostly or completely bald, and are not immediately recognizable as human. They have the silvery skin of Elantrians and glow slightly; a few members have darker skin, presumably indicating that they are ethnically [[Dula]]. The Ire wear hooded white robes with silver embroidery. [[Alonoe]], who seems to have a leadership role in the group, has thicker bands of silver on her robes.{{msh ref|5|2}}

The Ire have other members, not all of whom are ancient.{{wob ref|1501}} In addition to their fortress, they have other small outposts in the Cognitive Realm,{{wob ref|13199}} and some of their members presumably operate or visit these locations.
