Haspers are creatures that appear to spend most, if not all, of their life totally stationary.{{book ref|sa1|44}}{{book ref|sa1|63}} They grow in clusters,{{book ref|sa1|44}} attached to the side of objects made of stone,{{book ref|sa2|69}} wood,{{book ref|sa1|3}} or on [[shalebark]].{{book ref|sa1|64}} Haspers can be found in a wide variety of places across eastern Roshar, including the docks of [[Kharbranth]],{{book ref|sa1|3}} [[Hearthstone]],{{book ref|sa1|44}} and the chasms of the [[Shattered Plains]].{{book ref|sa1|55}} They reproduce during the [[Weeping]], with clusters seeming to grow out of nowhere.{{book ref|sa1|44}} It is unknown what haspers feed on.{{book ref|sa1|3}}
