Skai is a [[Shardholder]] from [[Sel]]. Before the events of [[Elantris]], Skai was killed by [[Rayse]], and the [[Shard]] he held Splintered. There is only one instance of the word Skai in all of the Canonical Cosmere books. It occurs in the part two epigraphs of [[The Way of Kings]]. However, the word "[[Skaze]]" appears one time in Elantris, and it seems likely that this word is derived from Skai.
