When Rysn received her, Chiri-Chiri was about the size of the palm of her hand.{{book ref|sa2|i|3}} Since then, she has grown considerably, to more than two feet long.{{book ref|sa3.5|1}} She looks like a winged [[cremling]] with a sleek head reminiscent of an [[axehound]] but with solid silver eyes.{{book ref|sa2|i|3}}{{book ref|sa3.5|2}} Typically, Chiri-Chiri is a brown-violet color, but when she requires a [[mandra]] to continue growing, her shell whitens to a chalky color.{{book ref|sa3.5|1}}

== Attributes and Abilities ==
Chiri-Chiri eats [[Stormlight]] by perching on or hovering over an infused [[sphere]] and sucking the light out in a stream. She can also eat [[Voidlight]]. In addition to eating Light from spheres, Chiri-Chiri can suck Light, of both types, from people holding it, such as [[Fused]] or [[Surgebinder]]s.{{book ref|sa3|i|13}}{{book ref|sa3.5|10}} She may even be able to feed on [[Breath]], including a [[Divine Breath]].{{wob ref|13419}}
This eating of [[Investiture]] powers Chiri-Chiri's rapid growth.{{book ref|sa3|i|13}} Like all larkin, Chiri-Chiri must occasionally bond mandras from [[Akinah]] to sustain this growth and retain her flight.
