Arsteel joined Denth's team in the hopes of bringing Denth around and orchestrating a reconciliation between him and [[Vasher]]. [[Jewels]] joined Denth's team because she was in love with Arsteel.{{annotation ref|Warbreaker|chapter=22-2}}
