Como ajustador, mediante el uso de mentehierros, Wax puede almacenar su peso a cambio de ser más liviano de lo normal, y decantar esos depósitos para volverse más pesado. Wax almacena constantemente parte de su peso, quedándose con tres cuartos de su peso normal, siendo más ligero de lo normal. También emplea esta habilidad para navegar verticalmente junto con sus [[acero#Uso alomántico|empujones de acero]] y una escopeta. Wax no suele decantar su peso muy a menudo, puesto que prefiere almacenarlo para ser más ligero y, consecuentemente, la enorme cantidad de peso que puede decantar de sus mentes de metal le permite atravesar con facilidad y sin esfuerzo el suelo, cayendo directamente a través de este. Emplea este poder a favor propio en varias ocasiones.
As a Skimmer, using iron metalminds, Wax can store his weight at the cost of being lighter than normal, and tap the storage to become heavier. Wax constantly stores his weight to make him about three-quarters of his normal weight, making him lighter on his feet. He also uses this ability to navigate vertically in combination with [[Steel#Allomantic Use|steelpushing]] and a shotgun. Wax doesn't tap into his weight very often, preferring to store it to be lighter, as a result, the sheer amount of weight he can tap in to allows him to quite easily fall straight through a floor with no effort. He uses this power to his advantage many times.
