Usuario:Darniil/mistborn summary extras

As regards the repeated links, I'm kind of treating each chapter as a mini-article unto itself. I figure that if a character, place, term, or other thing shows up only a few times, and I only link the very first time it appears in the overall article, it may be hard for a reader to find the link.

However, treating each chapter as a mini-article, I can link a character, place, etc. the first time it appears in a chapter, thus making it easier for the reader to find a link to a more exhaustive explanation.--Darniil 02:31, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 6 Oddities

I was going to put these on the summary page, but then I decided that they didn't belong there.

Caverns described in prologue as being “to the east”, many days’ travel by foot from Tresting’s estate. During planning in this chapter, Pits of Hathsin are described as being a couple of days away from Luthadel. Luthadel’s Garrison is the only force close enough to come to the aid of the Pits. The caverns are also mentioned as being closer to Luthadel than the Pits. In HoA, TenSoon says the kandra Homeland connects to the Pits, that the kandra had to wall off some tunnels to keep skaa slaves from stumbling into the Homeland. Elsewhere, (where? can't remember), it is mentioned that the Pits, the Homeland, and the caverns are all part of the same system of caves. Very, very large system of caves? If so, some must also exist under Luthadel itself; if the Arguois caverns are large enough to house ten thousand people, they probably aren’t at the periphery of the cave system. (The cramped confines of the Pits suggest they could be at the periphery, putting the Homeland between the Pits and the Arguois caverns, which is in turn between the Homeland and Luthadel.) Yeden, however, mentions that the Arguois caverns are a week’s travel outside the city.

Thoughts?--Darniil 03:12, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 9 - Other Notes

I thought about linking to each of the Great Houses, but I decided that would probably end up in a lot of redlinks, as we hardly know anything about most of them. If that ends up changing, we can link to articles about the houses themselves.--Darniil 03:23, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
