== Geografía ==
El cauce principal del río fluye bastante directo hacia el oeste desde su nacimiento en el este.{{map ref|Elendel Basin}} El nacimiento del río parece encontrarse muy al este de la Cuenca, cerca del antiguo [[Dominio Creciente]], y entra en la Cuenca a través de una brecha entre la [[Cordillera de Faleast]] y la [[Cordillera de Seran]].{{map ref|Scadrial}} Dentro de la ciudad propiamente dicha, el río ha sido diseñado para fluir hacia el oeste a través de un gran canal, y se ha dividido de forma que recorre el espacio alrededor de la isla circular que forma el Campo del Renacimiento. Tras pasar bajo los tres puentes próximos al lado norte de la comisaría del Sexto Octante, el río se abre bajo el anillo de carretera periférico de la ciudad y desemboca en la [[bahía de Hammondar]].{{map ref|Elendel}} Los otros seis grandes canales, que comunican con otros seis ríos de la Cuenca de Elendel, también están manipulados para desembocar en el río principal a la altura del Campo del Renacimiento, formando así los otros radios que limitan los ocho Octantes de Elendel.{{map ref|Elendel}}
 
Una línea de ferrocarril viaja paralela a la orilla sur del río y termina en el anillo de carretera interior del Tercer Octante, conectando con la mayoría de las otras líneas.{{map ref|Elendel}} Fuera de la ciudad, las vías se desvían del río, proporcionando así una ruta más directa a [[Steinel]]. Dos ramales de la línea principal dan acceso a la estación [[Puertoseco]], en el río, y a la de Steinel, cruzando el río. == Geography ==
The main body of the river flows fairly straight westwards from its source in the east. It is unclear whether the source is in the [[Faleast Range]], the [[Seran Range]], or further outside the basin similar to at least two of the other major rivers/canals in the basin.{{map ref|Elendel Basin}} Inside the city the river has been engineered to flow straight due east, and has been split such that it flows around the circular island forming the Field of Rebirth. After flowing under the three bridges close to the Northside Sixth Octant precinct it opens out under the outer ring-road bridge and flows into [[Hammondar Bay]].{{map ref|Elendel}} The six major canals which channel the other six rivers in Elendel Basin are all also engineered to flow into the river around the Field of Rebirth, forming the other spokes which border the eight Octants of Elendel.{{map ref|Elendel}}

A rail line travels the length of the river along the southern bank, terminating at the inner ring-road of the Third Octant, with further connections through to most of the other rail lines.{{map ref|Elendel}} Outside the city the rail deviates from the river, providing a straighter route out to [[Steinel]]. Two spurs from the main line provide access to stations on the river at [[Dryport]] and across the river closer to Seinel. At Steinel the rail forks, one branch following the river more closely out to the eastern mountains, the other travelling south west to [[Elmsdel]] and [[Garmet]].{{map ref|Elendel Basin}} At least fifteen stations lie along the river, five of which in the city boundaries.
