The Coppermind isn't the place for this type of theorising and speculation sorry. I've left the general feat in as 'other abilities' though there are quite a few similarities between what Kaladin does at Revolar and Kaladin's forming/using his Shardplate and it is likely that these are related. But as there isn't currently a Shardplate section I'll leave this as is.

Syl was impressed and unfamiliar with this feat, suggesting it is not a typical Windrunner ability. It may be a variation of the Surge of Adhesion: the wings of windspren may be a Full Lashing that binds the windspren together and to Kaladin, while the actual calming of the winds may be a result of Kaladin's infusion of the windspren with Light, similar to how a modern fabrial works. It could also be an example of Resonance, or an ability like that of Jasnah's where she can Soulcast at a distance, which is not an example of Resonance, as it can be learned by Lightweavers as well. 13399
