O’Brien was present when [[Steelheart (Epic)|Steelheart]] gained his powers during a raid on a Russian satellite facility. O’Brien lost an arm when one of Steelheart’s energy blasts clipped him on the shoulder. Despite losing the arm, O’Brien was still ablemanaged to fire his rifle at Steelheart later.
