She also realizes that, persuant to Shallan's connection with Jasnah and her daughter's knowledge, that she shouldn't have ignored Shallan. That it was petty, avowing that scholars don't have time for such nonsense.{{book ref|sa2|77}}
During their time at Urithiru, they worked closely both in research and politics. Jasnah would lecture her mother sometimes. Navani did find the research Jasnah did on Renarin, but did not take more out of it.{{book ref|sa3|109}}
