'''Navani''' is a character from the series [[The Stormlight Archive]]. She is the mother of [[Elhokar]] and [[Gavilar]]'s widow. In [[The Way of Kings]], she interacts primarily with [[Dalinar]], and later becomes romantically involved with him. ▼

She was a renowned engineer, scholar and [[artifabrian]] and was heavily involved in the creation of new [[fabrial]]s.
She was one of the artifabrians who created the [[Grandbow]] as well as a type of painrial.
Navani also discovered that the language which Dalinar spoke during his visions was actually the [[Dawnchant]], a formerly lost language and so proved that his visions were accurate and not the product of insanity.

[[Navani's notebook]], shown in two of the illustrations within the book, is the only sample we have of [[Alethi]] writing.
