Lord '''Ferson Penrod''' was the second king of the [[Central Dominance]]. Having before served as senior of the noblemen in the [[Assembly]].

He succeeded [[Elend Venture]] as king, when the council voted Elend off the throne. Holding the majority of votes against Elend. When Elend saved Luthadel from its siege and became emperor, he left Penrod in the position of King of the Central Dominance.
Ruin took control of Penrod, through with an hemalurgic spike harvested from a copper [[Misting]]. Marsh had attacked Penrod and driven the spike through his heart. Yet since Penrod continued living, the surgeons feared removing it and left it in place, giving Ruin a foothold in Penrods mind.
