After the [[Battle of the Tower]], he became a member of [[House Kholin]]'s personal guard, and then a squire to the [[Knight Radiant]] [[Kaladin Stormblessed]]. At some point he sent word back to the mountains for his family to join him on the [[Shattered Plains]].{{citeref|sa2|4}} By the time they reach the Plains, the warcamps had migrated to [[Urithiru]].{{citeref|sa3|37}} The family's caravan was attacked by [[Voidbringer]]s and they defend themselves behind a pile of furniture. During the attack one of them shot a Voidbringer with an [[Unkalaki]] arrow. They were found by [[Bridge Four]] during a patrol and reunited with Lunamor in [[Narak]] before being taken back to [[Urithiru]].{{book ref|sa3|37}}
