The flight participated in the [[Second Battle of Alta]], and was the eleventh flight to join the group sent to defend the shipyard.{{book ref|sky1|48}} When the [[Superiority]] sent their battleship forward to begin bombarding [[Detritus]], Ivy Flight was one of the flights sent up to fight off the [[KRELL|Krell]] so that [[FM]] could disable the cannon. When the Engineering Corps got the planetary shield up, two members of Ivy Flight were left stuck outside the shield, and met up with [[Jorgen]] and several other ships so that Jorgen could use the [[taynix]] to teleport them inside Detritus’ shield.{{book ref|sf1|12}} The other surviving members of the flight presumably retreated back to [[Platform Prime]] on [[Matthew Cobb|Cobb’s]] orders.{{book ref|sf1|11}}

When [[Superiority]] forces attacked the planet [[Evershore (planet)|Evershore]], Ivy Flight was one of the flights called into action to protect the planet, alongside [[Stardragon Flight]] and [[Victory Flight]]. Ivy Flight had a few taynix, and used them to hyperjump to Evershore. Ivy Flight and Stardragon Flight were assigned by Jorgen to protect the city of [[Dreamspring]], intercepting enemy fighters before they got within firing range of the city. At least one member of the flight was shot down during the ensuing fight, when a Superiority [[cytonics|cytonic]] used mindblades during combat.{{book ref|sf3|14}}
El escuadrón participó en la [[Segunda Batalla de Alta]], y fue el undécimo escuadrón en unirse al grupo enviado para defender el astillero.{{book ref|sky1|48}} Cuando la [[Supremacía]] envió su acorazado al frente para comenzar a bombardear [[Detritus]], el Escuadrón Hiedra fue uno de los enviados para luchar contra los [[KRELL|krell]] para que [[FM]] pudiera desactivar el cañón. Cuando las fuerzas de la [[Supremacía]] atacaron el planeta [[Orilla Perpetua (planeta)|Orilla Perpetua]], el Escuadrón Hiedra fue uno de los llamados a la acción para proteger el planeta, junto con el [[Escuadrón Dragón Estelar]] y el [[Escuadrón Victoria]]. El Hiedra disponía de algunos taynix, y los utilizó para realizar un hipersalto a Orilla Perpetua. Elos escuadrones Dragón Estelar y Hiedra fueron asignados por Jorgen para proteger la ciudad de Manantial Soñador, interceptando cazas enemigos antes de que llegaran a distancia de disparo de la ciudad. Al menos un miembro del escuadrón fue derribado durante el combate, cuando un [[Citónica (habilidad)|citónico]] de la Supremacía usó hojas mentales durante el combate.{{book ref|sf3|14}}
