Las veinticinco letras conocidas de la escritura femenina se pueden organizar en cinco conjuntos de cinco letras cada uno. Cada conjunto se define por la forma básica de los caracteres que lo componen: el «conjunto vocálico» es una línea vertical, el «conjunto T» es un triángulo curvado que apunta a la izquierda, el «conjunto S» es un triángulo curvado que apunta a la derecha, el «conjunto P» es un diamante curvado y el «conjunto K» es un triángulo dentado que apunta a la izquierda.
The twenty-five known letters in the women's script can be arranged into five sets of five letters each. Each set is defined by the basic shape of the characters within it: the "vowel set" is a vertical line, the "T set" is a curved triangle pointing to the left, the "S set" is a curved triangle pointing to the right, the "P set" is a curved diamond, and the "K set" is a jagged triangle pointing to the left.

La escritura femenina sólo tiene un carácter de puntuación conocido. Se trata de una sola línea vertical con dos pequeñas líneas horizontales en la parte superior e inferior. Se escribe al principio de un pasaje y define la altura máxima de los caracteres. Las preguntas se marcan añadiendo «ha» al final de la última palabra de la frase. También hay un signo de interrogación en el boceto de Navani en ''Juramentada'', en la página 447, pero, a juzgar por la escritura, fue añadido posteriormente por [[Nazh]] y no forma parte de la escritura femenina. Se desconoce qué otros signos de puntuación existen, si es que existen, ya que no se han observado otros ejemplos.
Women's script has only one known character for punctuation. It is a single vertical line with two small, horizontal lines at the top and bottom. It is written at the beginning of a sentence and it defines the maximum character height. Questions are marked by adding “ha” at the end of the last word in the sentence. There is also a question mark present in Navani's sketch in ''Oathbringer'' on page 447, but judging by the handwriting this was added later by [[Nazh]] and is not part of the women's script. It is unknown what other punctuation exists, if any, as no other examples have been observed.
