He was commonly described as "portly", though he lost weight at points during the series.{{book ref|mb1|4}} He wore extremely colorful clothes, and had a mustache.

 

He was a [[Brass|Soother]], who blatantly Soothed everyone he came across. This led him to be mistrusted by many people. They were reluctant to do anything for him, as they were worried he might be Soothing them.{{book ref|mb1|4}} He is beleived by [[Kelsier]] and many of his crew to be one of the most skilled Soothers in [[Scadrial]]. He helped to teach [[Vin]] some of the more in-depth aspects off Soothing.

 

Breeze was often used by Kelsier to obtain useful information, and to make lords more willing to inadvertently aid the crew. After the Rebellion when Elend was king, Breeze helped him write his speeches, as he was very skilled with persuasion, even without using his Soothing. He had a relationship with [[Allrianne Cett]] while he was in the service of Lord Cett, who was attempting to invade [[Luthadel]]. He tried to hide this because of the huge age difference between them, but everyone found out when she arrived begging for protection. It was later discovered that she was a [[bronze|Rioter]], and had been Rioting Breeze's emotions. {{book ref|mb3|part=ars}} Breeze often would Soothe members of the crew to make them more confident, although he did not want anybody to know about this because he would loose his reputation for being uncaring.

 

It was believed that he was a half-[[skaa]], but was truly a nobleman in hiding by the name of '''Edgard Ladrian'''.{{annotation ref|mb1|chapter=17-2}} {{book ref|mb2|23}} {{book ref|mb5|19}}. After the Final Ascension, he became known as the '''Counselor of Gods''',{{book ref|aol|epilogue}} and founded [[House Ladrian]]. He is the ancestor of [[Waxillium Ladrian]]. One of his hands was given to a Kandra, and is still in use during Mistborn era 2. {{book ref|mb6|3}}
