The slums where Old Chapps lives are almost certainly Idrian for the following reasons:
- The slums in T'Telir are only identified as Idrian or "Highland", a nickname for Idris, even in the annotations. There is no specific mention of slums that are not Idrian.
- In Ch. 28, it is specifically noted that Idrians seek work at the docks, and Chapps lives in a slum tenement full of dockworkers there.
- In Ch. 31, Denth says everyone in the slums is Idrian.
- In Ch. 22, Denth's safe house is mentioned as being in the slums, and on the map of T'Telir, it is right next to some docks.
Of course, there are probably at least a few exceptions to Denth's statement, but it is extremely likely that Chapps' building is part of the Idrian slums, and all of its residents are also Idrian. Big Smooth (talk) 10:00, 22 March 2019 (MST)
