The story startedstarts with [[Jak]] waking up in a cave, out of metals. He escapedthen escapes the cave by jumping into the river in the canyon below after licking a [[tin]] deposit on the wall of the cave. He wasis promptly recaptured by the Koloss who wantedwant to make him their leader and a [[hemalurgy|spike]] him to make him Koloss. He discovereddiscovers that his girlfriend [[Elizandra Dramali]] wasis Koloss blooded. He diddoes not want to become a Koloss, so he saidsays that he already wasis one and wouldwill prove it by getting the [[Kelsier|Survivor]]'s treasure from the bottom of a spear-shaped pool. He dovedives down, and foundfinds a chest, whichand hebrings broughtit back up. It containedcontains a number of Koloss spikes. The Koloss wereare so excited to have new spikes to increase their numbers that, Jak and Elizandra managedmanage to escape., and Jak realizedrealizes that the chest itself wasis made of [[aluminum]].
