== Appearance and Personality ==

Sureblood is a white Ryshadium stallion{{book ref|sa1|26}} with dark coloured eyes.{{book ref|sa2|81}}. He is quite tall and will tower over a gelding{{book ref|sa2|76}}. He isn't as powerfully built as [[Gallant]], who is much bulkier and squatter than Sureblood.{{book ref|sa2|51}}. Shallan notes that he is actually a pure white color.{{book ref|sa2|77}}.

Sureblood is not prone to panic, remaining calm under archery fire even when warhorses would not{{book ref|sa1|13}} and hardly needs handling by grooms.{{book ref|sa1|26}}. Sureblood and his master share a close bond. Sureblood is very aware of Adolin's emotions and will often prance while Adolin is riding him in attempts to improve up his rider's mood.{{book ref|sa2|26}}. Simply being near Sureblood is enough to make Adolin feel better{{book ref|sa2|26}} and Adolin has felt odd and morose to be on rides that do not include Sureblood.{{book ref|sa2|51}} .

== History ==

Adolin was more nervous on the day he met Sureblood than on the day he won his [[Adolin's ShardbladeMayalaran|Shardblade]] because Ryshadium choose their own rider. He was young when they bonded but his exact age is not known.{{book ref|sa2|81}}.

Sureblood is present during the Chasmfiend hunt{{book ref|sa1|13}} and the [[Battle of the Tower]].{{book ref|sa1|64}}{{book ref|sa1|68}}.

He is killed by [[Parshendi]] lightening during the [[Battle of Narak]]. When he dies Adolin screams in grief.{{book ref|sa2|81}}.
