Dalinar convinced Sadeas to team up for a joint plateau assault. After spotting a chrysalis on the Tower Plateau Sadeas and Dalinar agreed that Sadeas' forces led into the battle and Dalinar followed with a few lent bridges from Sadeas. This, because Dalinar refused to use bridgemen on the initial assault, and with his own chull-drawn bridges he would have been too slow.{{ref|b|twok|c|64}} Once there, Sadeas and Dalinar's armies attacked the Parshendi from different sides.adjacent plateaus.{{ref|b|twok|c|65}}
