Vin opposed the idea and chose to keep her [[Vin's earring\|earring]]{{book ref\|mb1\|17}} Prior to the [[Collapse]], it housed shops for the [[noble\|nobility]], including tailoring and jewelry shops.{{book ref\|mb1\|17}}{{book ref\|mb2\|5}} After the Collapse, [[Elend Venture]] abolished the restrictions on [[skaa]] merchants and wages. As a result, Kenton Street became a lively market, with merchants employing criers and jugglers to try to attract attention for their wares.{{book ref\|mb2\|5}} During the [[Siege of Luthadel]], [[Tindwyl]] took [[Allrianne]] and [[Vin]] dress-shopping on Kenton Street.
