After sending a young grad student who was hoping to write a paper on Stephen home, he received a letter from an unknown sender that contained a picture of [[Wikipedia:Lone Cypress|the Lone Cypress]] but from approximately 240 years ago. He had [[Armando]] run it through tests, who said that the picture seemed to be real, but that the tests could be faked. The next day, he received a similar letter that contained a picture of George Washington shaving. He once again brought it to Armando, who said that it was real. Immediately after that, [[Monica]] showed up at the door. She explained the way [[Balubal Razon|Razon]]'s [[Razon's camera|camera]] works and [[Ivy]] guesses at it being stolen. Stephen does not want to take the case until Monica shows him a picture of [[Sandra]] He decides to take the case.
